Common questions about auto repair.
Not seeing yours? Call (909) 307-1077 or send us photos via the estimate form.
Do you work on my make of car?
Almost certainly. We hold direct OEM certifications from Tesla, Rivian, Ford, Lincoln, Honda, Acura, Mazda, and Subaru, and as a Fix Auto USA network shop our I-CAR-trained technicians repair the vast majority of makes and models on the road. Call us with your year, make, and model if you're unsure.
Will collision repair affect my factory warranty?
No — when the repair is performed by an OEM-certified shop using genuine parts and manufacturer-approved procedures, your factory warranty stays intact. That's a major reason we maintain manufacturer certifications across six brands.
Do you use OEM parts or aftermarket?
OEM parts whenever the repair calls for it and your insurance policy allows. OEM parts preserve your factory warranty, fit correctly, and maintain crash safety ratings. We discuss parts options with you during the estimate.
What is the Fix Auto network lifetime warranty?
As a Fix Auto USA network shop, our repair work is backed by a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. The warranty travels with you across 200+ Fix Auto shops in the US — so if you move or have an issue while traveling, any network shop can honor it.
How does the insurance claim process work?
Tell us your carrier and claim number (if you have one). We work directly with every major carrier and have DRP relationships with many of them. We handle the paperwork, supplements, and approvals so you don't have to.
Can you repair the aluminum-body Ford F-150?
Yes. Since 2015 the F-150 has been built with an aluminum body, which requires a separate welding bay, separate tools, and specific training to prevent steel cross-contamination. We hold Ford CCN certification and have all the equipment and training to repair F-150, F-150 Lightning, Super Duty, and the rest of the Ford lineup correctly.
Do you scan vehicles before and after repair?
Yes. Modern vehicles have dozens of electronic systems that can be affected by even minor collisions. We perform diagnostic scans before repair to identify all damage, and again after repair to verify everything functions to factory specification — including ADAS recalibration.
How long will my car be in the shop?
Minor repairs (bumper, single panel, dent repair) typically take 2 to 5 business days. Major collision repairs typically run 1 to 3 weeks depending on parts availability and insurance approvals. We provide a written timeline as part of every estimate.
